1. With the large and multinodular confluent tumor at hand, it's difficult to determine whether it arose from a lymph node or not.

2. Pathologic examination revealed multinodular goiter in 13 (76.5 percent), follicular adenoma in 3 (17.6 percent), and follicular adenocarcinoma in 1 (5.9 percent).

3. Multinodular and specific glioneuronal element was typical in pathological examination, seizure could be controlled by operation.

4. Pseudocystic, multinodular "bubbly" mass may be seen. DNETs usually do not enhance- faint focal punctuate or nodular enhancement may be seen in 20% cases.

5. Hence, the conditional probability of thyroid cancer in a patient with multinodular goiter with a delayed washout pattern was 0.78 (11/14 patients).

6. Objective To summarize the experience of the surgical treatment of toxic multinodular goiter ( TMNG ).

7. Conclusion: CT is still of high accuracy in diagnosis and differentiate diagnosis of thyroid adenoma and multinodular goiter, although it hardly differentiated in few of cases.

8. Results:The consistent rate of CT diagnosis of thyroid adenoma and multinodular goiter with pathological findings was 95.2%(20/21)and 73.3%(11/15), respectively.

9. The follicles are irregularly enlarged, with flattened epithelium, consistent with inactivity, in this microscopic appearance at low power of a multinodular goiter.
